"It's not a phase" chair was born through the unique spatial identity designed by Spacon & X for Rotate, a brand from Birger Christensen House. Drawing inspiration from the power of dressing up, we have transformed its core traits into a sculpture, reimagining piercings as a symbolic representation of ongoing transformation and rebellion. While it appears as a stainless steel chair, its purpose is not for sitting but rather to evoke desire. With its exquisite over-ornamentation and unapologetic construction, the pierced metal elements invite playful engagement. However, the void in the center signifies its silent rebellion —sitting is not intended.
