Spacon & X is an award-winning, cross-disciplinary design and architecture studio that prioritizes exploration. Based in Copenhagen and established in 2014, our intention is to craft unexpected pieces, spaces and experiences to present a world full of unimaginable possibilities.

Our work varies in scale, ranging from furniture products to interior design to larger building projects. Whenever we create, the intention is to be honest and fearless in our approach –– working closely with clients, suppliers and collaborators to present a personalised final result, underpinned by a synthesis between our intuitive design practice and the client’s brand identity.

We combine unconventional design principles, multifaceted storytelling, and an emphasis on functionality to provide spatial solutions and brand experiences that are steeped in creativity. Where there is perfection, we look for and elevate imperfection: our work strives to exist beyond the obvious to continually challenge perceptions.

As a creative and collaborative studio, we believe that an untraditional fusion of skills gives rise to the most ambitious results. Our three founding partners stem from a variety of backgrounds, including Architecture, Fashion Design, and Scenographic Design. Meanwhile, our in-house team encompasses a broad spectrum of competences: architects, interior designers, design engineers, digital designers, carpenters, building constructors, economists, art directors, strategists, and communication specialists all feed into Spacon & X’s unconventional vision.
